Planner Shelving MC510 designed in 1949 by Paul McCobb for Fritz Hansen, is characterised by its clean lines and streamlined form. Fusing heritage and modernity, this collection of storage and display units illustrates McCobb’s signature graphic style with a mid-century modern aesthetic. The elegant, Bauhaus-inspired frame is crafted from powder-coated steel in black, with a slightly matte finish. 

Each joint is hand-welded and gently rounded, whilst the natural oak veneer shelves are finished with bevelled edges. Available in three different versions with varying heights and configurations. 

With versatility at the core, Planner has the ability to shape a room, either installed as a free-standing room divider, a bookshelf or a console table.  Each unit provides ample space for storing your favourite books and displaying decorative objects. Multiple units can be installed together to create a feature for larger interiors. A multi-functional storage solution for both contemporary living or office spaces.

Paul McCobb was a pioneer of democratic design, whose creations filled the homes of Mid-Century America with lasting quality. His portfolio of work includes some of the most iconic designs of the 20^th Century. Planner is now manufactured by Fritz Hansen.
