The Strata Rug, designed by Hélène Poiraud for Ligne Roset takes its inspiration from the textures, patterns and colours found in the natural environment. Referencing the rocky landscape of mountains and deserts, the Strata rug features a rich texture of undulating lines in multiple layers of natural tones. Hand-tufted from the highest quality 100% New Zealand wool, each row of fabric is finely chiseled, bringing intensity and depth to this rug.

Chiselling is a key step in the manufacturing of this rug, which consists of sculpting the tufted fabric to create a relief or in the case of Strata, to mark a change in colour. This step requires exceptional skill and precision from the maker. With a palette of rich and contrasting colours, the Strata rug is available in 2 colours: hazelnut (green and brown) and powder (pink, brown and red).
